PPI-SA Coaches and Staff Graduate from College

Many of the previous posts have mentioned Nasiphi Khafu and her variety of talents which will help her rise one day to the title of PPI-SA Managing Director. Last week, Nasiphi, as well as many current and ex-PPI coaches, graduated from area colleges in majors ranging from sports management to sports science.  Nasiphi last week hosted a post graduation party that brought together her many families, including almost ten members of the PPI-SA clan.  As a testament to Nasiphi, two school representatives were also in attendance to support the Nasiphi’s hard work.

Many of our coaches attend college while dedicating three hours, three times per week to coaching basketball and teaching life skills. Most are taking courses in sports marketing and management, as Nasiphi did, though others have focused their studies on graphic design and architecture. We hope to enlist the graphic design students to help us put together our PPI-SA newsletter, as well as design some of our t-shirts and other apparel.  Maybe we’ll require our architecture coaches to help us build a new PPI-SA home, complete with five full basketball courts with lights. Or maybe an indoor court? Ah…one day.

Thank you to Nasiphi for hosting us at her graduation party.  She completely out did herself, as she always does, in providing us with a beautiful, fun and delicious party. Congratulations to all our coaches and staff who work tirelessly to serve as positive role models to our 1,000 participants, all the while attending school to strengthen and increase their own knowledge. Keep it up! We’re looking forward to that next party!
